Prayer Time Methods

Prayer times are calculated using the Al-Adhan API with a method of your choice. Use the Settings in the top-right of the widget to change the calculation method and Asr school.

  • Fajr — Dawn, before sunrise
  • Sunrise — Solar sunrise
  • Dhuhr — Midday, after the sun passes its zenith
  • Asr — Afternoon, when shadows lengthen
  • Maghrib — Sunset, right after the sun disappears
  • Isha — Night, after the twilight disappears
