Social Boycott
The Quraysh imposed a complete boycott on Banu Hashim and Banu Muttalib. No one could trade, marry, or interact with them for 3 years.

Suffering During Boycott
The Muslims suffered extreme hunger. They ate leaves and the Prophet's uncle Abu Lahab would secretly send some food.

Boycott Ends
After 3 years, five honorable Quraysh leaders declared the boycott document void. Allah had eaten away all words except 'In Your name, O Allah'.
