Calling the Kings
The Prophet ﷺ sent letters to the rulers of the world calling them to Islam: Heraclius (Rome), Kisra (Persia), Muqawqis (Egypt), and others.

Letter to Heraclius
Heraclius, Emperor of Rome, received the letter respectfully. He acknowledged the signs of Prophethood but did not accept Islam due to his people.
628 CE Constantinople

Letter to Kisra
Kisra, Emperor of Persia, tore the letter in anger. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'May Allah tear his kingdom.' Persia fell to Muslims within decades.
