Treaty Broken
The Quraysh broke the treaty by attacking Banu Khuza'ah, allies of the Muslims. The Prophet ﷺ prepared for conquest.
10,000 March
The Prophet ﷺ marched with 10,000 Muslims toward Makkah. They lit fires to show their strength. Abbas, the Prophet's uncle, accepted Islam.
Abu Sufyan Accepts Islam
Abu Sufyan, the leader of Quraysh, came to the Muslim camp and accepted Islam. The Prophet ﷺ declared his house safe.
Peaceful Entry
The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah peacefully on his camel, head bowed in gratitude. He recited: 'Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory.'
General Amnesty
The Prophet ﷺ declared: 'Go, you are free!' Despite 20 years of persecution, he forgave everyone except a few criminals.
Cleaning the Ka'bah
The Prophet ﷺ entered the Ka'bah and destroyed all 360 idols. He recited: 'Truth has come and falsehood has departed.'
