Impressed by his character and honesty, Khadijah proposed marriage to the Prophet ﷺ through her friend Nafisah. He was 25, she was 40.

The Prophet ﷺ married Khadijah. She was the first to believe in him, supported him financially and emotionally, and bore all his children except Ibrahim.
